This release is limited to 500 CDs, presented with a full-colour gatefold digisleeve and including liner notes by Ferry Kortenbeek (Lower Than Low punk zine).
The actual label name is Subunderground C.A. The C.A.-part gets filled in differently with each release.
The ‘Current Affairs’ compilation-CD contains no less than 17 killer punk tracks from 10 killer punk bands, hailing from England as well as the Netherlands. It’s a very diverse and entertaining collection, with each band doing their own 100% punk thing in their own 100% punk way. But, of course, they also have things in common, most notably a strong passion for what they’re doing and a profound DIY mentality! This CD rips and burns and twists and turns, and it has very much to offer. It’s for punks - and punk enthusiasts - with an open musical mind!
