Acousmatic Black Metal Ensemble.
TELE.S.THERION
Akousmatikoi: Scores, enharmonic electric bass | Audio mixing, sound synthesizer. | In large ensemble with: Lunurumh - voices | Michel Doneda - soprano saxophone | Le Quan Ninh - percussion | Jason Van Gulick - drum | Kasper T. Toeplitz - bass | Antoine Chessex - tenor saxophone | Paolo Sanna - watherphone.
A concept album based on the namesake fourth scene of «Samstag aus Licht», from the opera «Licht: die sieben Tage der Woche», composed by Karlheinz Stockhausen.
These five compositions, are a specific result of an acousmatic audio-mixing process, where each author involved, has recorded a solo session of free improvisation, using as score only the enharmonic electric bass sessions, previously recorded, unknowing what each other author has recorded before.
“Luzifers Abschied is the second-composed entry of his seven part, 29-hour opera cycle “Licht”; an opera divided into the 7 days of the week (one opera for each day). This opera cycle revolves around 3 archetype characters, Michael, Eve and Lucifer, and over the 29 hours each of these characters are introduced, come into conflict, face temptation and finally come into union“. – Ed Chang –
“Saturday is the day of Lucifer, the day of death, the day of the dance of death, and of the transition to the Light.” [. ..] “Lucifer is concerned with reason, with complexity, with Magic, with time (and therefore rhythm), with humor, and above all with death“. – Karlheinz Stockhausen
Additional Mix and Mastering by Paolo Ambrogio Siconolfi.
