The Body Imitates the Landscape, for tape transducer speakers & ensemble (2018) by Claudio F. Baroni was commissioned and premiered by MAZE Ensemble, with financial support from The Performing Arts Fund NL. The project was realized in collaboration with visual artist Adi Hollander and Maze Ensemble. The text of the libretto is a selection from Karada ('body') by Mitchitado Tada, translated from Japanese to English by Tomiko Sasagawa Stahl and Anna Kazumi Stahl.
