To celebrate the 116th anniversary of Josephine Baker's birth, a new musical tribute to La Baker opened in Pigalle neighborhood of Paris. “Joséphine Baker: Le Musical" tells the moving story of one of the most inspiring women of the 20th century. Twelve brilliant artists magically bring her to life. The 13 songs, recorded at the magnificent 4A Sound Factory Studio in Forges-les-Eaux, unite musicians from Noa Music under the musical direction of Raphaël Bancou and the production by David Konopnicki. The music is by Jean-Pierre Hadida, who is also responsible for the musical's set design.
