"There were many Family musicians, composers and singers. It started with a duo of two members. As more foamily cane in, it was discovered that many held the musical beat of the times. This was exciting for Father Yod and the Family as a good way of sharing the wisdom and having fun while creating. It was part of the grand play to see who would join up for what album or the next Band Name.
In the beginning it was rehearsed and songs were composed. The "Spirit of '76" band was formed with as many musicians and back up singers as possible. Then Father Yod started to compose some songs and "Father Yod and the Spirit of '76" began to form.
One day Father saw a more intense and gritty group of sons doing their songs as "SAVAGE SONS OF YA HO WA." They were led by Electron, a 6'4" Masai Warrior with a gutteral, smooth one-two punch- so right on songs and voice, Rhythm on keyboard and guitar, with his laid back, almost country songs, and Djin with his soothing songs and guitar. Octavious pa=]layed drums and Sunflower was on bass, bringing it all Home.
It was wild and off the charts and we loved it. To this day it is one of my favorite albums. Look closely at the cover: Father Yod is sitting in the Rolls Royce, still in the driver's seat.
