1-1, 1-3, 2-1, 2-3 were on the original "Is", released in 1969 on Solid State Records, 1-2, 1-4, 1-5 and 2-2, recorded at the same sessions were released three years later as "Sundance" on Groove Merchant. The rest are alternate takes, never released before. Bennie Maupin was not credited on the original release of "Is".
Comes in slim double jewel case with 8-page booklet featuring liner notes and credits.
