KDO: Zpěvák, skladatel, multiinstrumentalista, herec, scénárista a spisovatel v jedné osobě, to je Nick Cave. Pochází z Austrálie, kde zformoval kapelu Boys Next Door, jež byla součástí místní post-punkové scény. V roce 1980 se skupina přejmenovala na Birthday Party a přesídlila do Evropy. Birthday Party v čele s Nickem Cavem si brzy získali značný respekt a velmi dobrou reputaci, jejich koncerty byly intenzivní a plné emocí. V roce 1983 se kapela rozpadla a Cave založil nové seskupení Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, v němž se sešel třeba s multiinstrumentalistou Mickem Harveym nebo kytaristou Blixou Bargeldem. Skupina je dnes považována za jednu z nejoriginálnějších post-punkových a alternativně rockových kapel, také u nás je její popularita značná.
CO: V různých formátech nyní vychází reedice „prvního dílu“, vydaného původně v roce 2005 a nově také letošní (2021) pokračování kompilace „B-Sides & Rarities“, které obsahuje těžko dostupné B-strany singlů a raritní nahrávky z katalogu a archivu Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
