KDO: Americká punk rocková kapela se dala dohromady v roce 1986 okolo zpěváka Billie Joe Arstronga a baskytaristy Mikea Dirnta. Green Day byli součastí punkové scény v Kalifornii, která se formovala okolo klubu 924 Gilman Street v Berkley. Zpočátku vydávali na malé nezávislé značce Lookout!, v roce 1994 přešli pod velké vydavatelství, kde hned s první deskou Dookie dosáhli fenomenálního úspěchu. Prodej alba překročil jen v Americe 10 milionů kopií. Green Day jsou dnes jednou z komerčně nejúspěšnějších rockových kapel světa s prodejem přes 75 milionů desek, obdrželi řadu cen včetně pěti Grammy.
CO: Výroční reedice sedmého a komerčně nejúspěšnějšího alba skupiny Green Day. Koncepční deska American Idiot vyšla v roce 2004 a vynesla kapele cenu Grammy.
