Dettagli del prodotto
Acclaimed singer and composer Ganna Gryniva presents UTOPIA - an album blending Ukrainian folklore, indie pop, and improvised electro-folk. Ancient archive melodies meet her own compositions - dreamy, driving, and full of emotion. Rare ritual songs like Malanka merge with Peruvian percussion, while opener Mermaids conjures a magical world. Baba and Mother honour strong women, Zemlya reflects her return to Ukraine after the Russian invasion, and Der Mann im Mond bridges two cultures. Joined by guests like Ambrose Akinmusire (trumpet) and Maxym Berezhnyuk (flutes), Gryniva creates a poetic, powerful, and boundless sound between folk, jazz, synths, and loops.
