If we're talking about essential pop-rock albums from the 1980s, 'Different Light' is an essential mention! The all-female power pop group had already attracted quite a lot of attention with their very catchy debut album ""All Over the Place"". None other than Prince took notice and decided to give them his newly written song ""Manic Monday"". It became the groups first worldwide hit. Fortunately, the whole album was filled with potential hits, resulting in a multi-platinum status in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
The 12-track set Different Light spawned five charting singles, including the aforementioned “Manic Monday” and “If She Knew What She Wants”, “Walking Down Your Street”, “Following” and “Walk Like An Egyptian”. The latter was the band’s first #1 single.
Different Light is available on black vinyl and includes an insert.
